Ugh.
Dazon Ingram of Alabama Crimson Tide out for season with fractured foot
Alabama freshman Dazon Ingram will miss the rest of the season with a fractured left foot, the school announced Thursday morning. Ingram suffered the injury during practice Tuesday and will undergo surgery Friday morning. A four-star recruit, Ingram had started all seven games for the Crimson Tide this season.
The 6-foot-5 guard was averaging 7.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
You can't soft-sell what a blow this one is. This Alabama team was held together by the senior leadership of Retin Obasohan and the dynamic playmaking of the youngsters, including Ingram.
What was potentially a difficult season in Tuscaloosa just assuredly became so.
