Alabama's Cyrus Jones all but finished off MSU with this filthy punt return TD

Should've thrown in the towel, Dantonio.

As he'd done three other times this season, Alabama senior punt returner Cyrus Jones executed a third quarter return to perfection, all but ending Michigan State's hopes of upending the Tide.

Tying David Palmer's 1991 school record, Jones received a punt just past midfield, made a great read, then absolutely humbled a hapless Spartans return coverage team member with a crazy juke.

Though there was still a quarter to be played, Alabama was in cruise control en route to their first College Football Playoff Championship Game. Monday, Jan. 11 at 8:30 p.m., the Tide will kickoff in Glendale, AZ's University of Phoenix stadium where they'll take on former Crimson Tide wide receiver Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers.

This return put them that much closer to a shot at Nick Saban's fourth 'Bama national title.
