This has been another relatively light weekend for 'Bama club sports, but the coming weeks should be full of Crimson Tide victories.
Men's Lacrosse
The Crimson Tide rebounded from a loss to Georgia Tech to win two games last weekend. Alabama took down Ole Miss 8-6 on Friday. Saturday, the Tide beat the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to move to 2-1 on the season, not counting their exhibition win over Columbus State University to open the season. Alabama will play a conference game at home on Saturday versus Georgia.
Women's Rugby
The women's rugby team earned a victory over KSU Saturday. The Crimson Tide will face Spring Hill in Mobile this weekend.
Women's Lacrosse
Alabama lost a close game at the hands of North Carolina Saturday by a 13-11 score. Morgan Hunter scored six goals to lead the Crimson Tide's effort.
Adapted Athletics
The Crimson Tide had an off weekend, but will be busy this weekend as they host the ABC Medical Collegiate Classic. Both teams will play two games Friday and one on Saturday. The women's team will get things started at 1 p.m. as they host the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater. Following the conclusion of the women's game, the men will face Whitewater. At 5 p.m. the women will take the floor again to play UT- Arlington, followed by the men at 7 p.m.. All four games Friday will be played in the rec center. The action will move to Foster Auditorium Saturday as the women tip off against Illinois at 5 p.m. The men face the Illini at 7 p.m.. Admission is free for kids 12 and under and university students. Adults can pick up tickets to Saturday's games for $5.
Frozen Tide Hockey
The Frozen Tide will play Michigan State in the ACHA Division III National Championships March 10 in Pelham, Alabama. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Pelham Civic Complex or via phone.
