Alabama has about as bad of a weekend as you could imagine.

Sims was one of the receivers Alabama was going to be most reliant on to help replace last year's top three receivers, Amari Cooper, DeAndrew White and Christion Jones. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Sims had seven catches for 62 yards and a touchdown as a freshman last season.

Nick Saban blew it with Jonathan Taylor domestic violence arrests - CBSSports.com

Taylor deserves his opportunity to work another case through the legal system. We all have rights. That's a big difference than deserving the opportunity and prestige of playing major college football through taxpayer-funded services.

Alabama Football: Week 1 Spring Practice Stock Report | Bleacher Report

"I love Derrick Henry," Saban said. "He's one of the hardest workers on our team. If you were going to give a most valuable player in the offseason program for just finishing, running hard, winning every race, finishing the drill, he'd have probably got it or been in the top three at least. I think that he has a real burning desire to be a really, really good player and works really hard at it."

Henry's progression is coming along quite well, if effort alone is any indication. And, I suspect it is here.

6 Men's Swimmers Combine for 21 All-America Honors Following 10th Place NCAA Finish - ROLLTIDE.COM - University of Alabama Official Athletic Site

In addition to posting its first top-10 finish since 1994, a total of six members of the Alabama men's swimming and diving team earned 21 All-America honors over the three days of the 2015 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships held in Iowa City, Iowa over the weekend.

That was a great weekend Swim team. Well done and congratulations.

Ex-Vandy coach to replace Manning on playoff committee | College Football

"I have tremendous respect for the selection committee and I am honored to join the group," Johnson said. "As a former player and coach, I'm particularly happy about the opportunity to continue to serve the game."

I'd actually rather have Bobby Johnson than a Manning of any stripe. Too much bad blood there to evaluate some teams fairly. I don't care what kind of impartiality they purport to have.

The Crimson White :: :: No. 5 Alabama softball cruises to 13-0 win over No. 23 Texas A&M

"It fires everyone up and it really sets the tone for the entire night," Alabama coach Patrick Murphy said. "And then after that, it was just kind of piling on."

Ruling on LSU Tigers recruiting penalties don't make sense - ESPN

...the NCAA and Southeastern Conference banned LSU from signing early enrollees to the agreement for the next two years and stripped the program of 10 percent of its recruiting evaluation days in 2015.
