Just three picks after Landon Collins was selected #33 by the New York Giants, Bama teammate T.J. Yeldon was made pick #36 of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is the third running back selected after Todd Gurley and Melvin Gordon were chosen in the first round.

The Jags are in dire need of a catalyst for their running game. Their leading rusher from this past season was former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson of all people. He carried the ball 135 times gaining 582 yards and only four TDs. Quarterback d Blake Bortles was the second leading rusher. The Jags as a team had a grand total of nine rushing scores.
The former Crimson Tide running back had 194 rushes for 979 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2014. For his career, he gained 3,322 rushing yards (good for fifth all-time) and 37 scores (third all-time) on the ground in three seasons at the Capstone. He also added a receiving touchdown against LSU that you might remember.
Yeldon will be reunited with former teammate long snapper Carson Tinker.
