Add another championship and a first to the University's trophy case.
Reigning U.S. Amateur champion, Emma Talley, took home the NCAA individual title on Monday, claiming the Tide's first individual title in golf - men or women.
Talley had a long Monday, as she posted a bogey-free final round and then had to wait for an hour as two other golfers nipped at her heels. She held on, after an agonizing sixty minutes, and claimed the title by just one stroke over the field.

Talley is this year's NCAA women's golf champion, becoming the first individual national champion in the history of either Alabama men's or women's golf. The U.S. Women's Amateur champion in 2013, Talley is just the fifth women's golfer ever to win both the U.S. Amateur and NCAA individual championships.
