After a visit to Tuscaloosa, one of the top players in the nation (IN THE NATION) chose to commit to Alabama. Terrance Ferguson is a consensus 5-star player, and the 11th ranked recruit in the nation. He chose Alabama over offers from top schools such as Louisville and Kansas.
I am proud to announce that I will be furthering my education and basketball career at The University of Alabama #RollTide #BuckleUp

Ferguson played for the USA basketball U17 and U16 teams the last two years, and won gold medals in both Dubai and Uruguay.
At 6'6" 180, Ferguson is a rangy shooting guard that excels in everything from three point shots to 360 dunks.
While not only getting the first 5-star recruit since Trevor Lacey, getting the pledge of Ferguson symbolizes a shift in basketball culture in Tuscaloosa. Coach Avery Johnson has already revitalized the energy surrounding the program, and his first season has not even started yet. It may be premature, but this could be the start of something really good happening for the Crimson Tide. Buckle Up.
