As we ease into fall, the temperature are slowly declining making it really FEEL like football season.
Friday night had two interesting games on the slate that proved closer than most would think:
MIAMI 44 FAU! 20 - Yet another game delayed by lightning 8 miles away, this match-up was pretty tight until FAU! lost both their starting QB and star running back. The Owls Jay Warren had 132 yards before he left in the 2nd quarter. And it still was a 20-20 game in the third quarter, before the Hurricanes pulled away with 24 unanswered points.
#24 Utah 24 Utah State 14 - Utah also lost their QB, Travis Wilson, who went down in the 1st quarter. RB Devontae Booker pounded out 120 yards on 31. Mark Richt likes that game plan.
South Florida 14 Florida State 34 - F, ESPN
Jacksonville State 20 Auburn 27 - F - OT, SECN
Oregon State 7 Michigan 35 - F, ABC
Army 17 Connecticut 22 - F, CBSSN
Miami (OH) 0 Wisconsin 58 - F, espn3
Kansas State 30 Texas San Antonio 3 - F, FOXS1
Houston 34 Louisville 31 - F, espn3
Buffalo 14 Penn State 27 - F, ESPN2
Appalachian State 10 Clemson 38 - 4th, espn3
