Alabama received a huge surprise on the recruiting front today, one that may well push them to a seventh consecutive #1 ranked recruiting class:
5-star Dylan Moses makes surprise commitment to Alabama after weekend visit
One of the most interesting recruiting process in the country — that of five-star linebacker Dylan Moses, 2017’s No. 4 recruit, per the 247Sports Composite — took an interesting turn on Sunday afternoon.
Moses, who held offers from LSU, Alabama, and Texas when he was still in middle school, verbally committed to Alabama following his visit to Tuscaloosa over the weekend.
Moses has changed his mind a few times since originally committing to LSU as a high school freshman. After de-committing last year, he had named Alabama, Texas, and LSU as his leader at various points. A physical freak at 235 pounds with reported sub-4.6 speed, Dylan projects as an every-down guy who could conceivably play any of the four linebacker slots, but fits best at Sam or Will. If he develops as expected, he will be the next in a line of great Alabama linebackers. Check out his junior highlights below.
Roll Tide, Dylan.
