ROLL TIDE!

It took the Crimson Tide a little while to get going. The Aggies put a scare into the home team but once again, a non-offensive touchdown was the spark. Alabama looked a little sluggish on both sides of the ball. Jonathan Allen's scoop and score put life into the team and the Tide rolled to 8-0.

With the win, Alabama takes control of the SEC West and improves their argument for a spot in the CFP. Texas A&M will have to win out and hope for other teams to lose a lot of games.

Up next is a well-deserved bye week for the Tide followed by a trip to Baton Rouge to play the improved LSU Tigers.

Josh will delve into deeper analysis of this game in "Initial Impressions" but a few thoughts:

  • On the few big plays that Myles Garrett made, Cam Robinson was not assigned to block him.
  • Damien Harris (17-128) is a workhorse and unsung hero of this team. He is tough as nails.
  • Alabama dominated offensive yardage output 451-278.
