Today, the Crimson Tide wades into the deep waters of their SEC schedule. Tonight they face the first of a four-game gauntlet: @Arkansas, @Tennessee, Texas A&M, @LSU.
But first, there are some decent morning games and one big SEC black eye.
LSU at Florida 11am/noon ESPN - Thanks to the pettiness and lack of cooperation between two AD egos coupled with the weak-kneed leadership of Greg Sankey, this game has been "postponed". This isn't just Florida vs. Idaho. This is an important game and Joe Alleva, Jeremy Foley, and Sankey NEED to find a way to make this game happen.
Auburn at Mississippi State 11am/noon ESPN - due to the "postponement" of LSU-Florida, this game can be seen on ESPN. (Aub -3; Methinks the Tigers cover.)
Texas at Oklahoma 11am/noon FS1 - The tradition and the pageantry of the the Red River Shootout... is a bit of a letdown this season. (OU -11½; You never know in this game. Okie should win but that is a BIG point spread.)
Notre Dame at NC State 11am/noon ABC- Who would've imagined that this match-up is projected to be a tight game? Which Irish team will show up? (NCSU -2; I am not a betting man, but I'd take ND to win straight up.)
THE REST:
Cincinnati vs. UConn 10:30am/11:30am CBSSN
East Carolina vs. South Florida 11am/noon ESPNews
TCU vs. Kansas 11am/noon ESPNU
Iowa vs. Minnesota 11am/noon ESPN2
Maryland vs. Penn State 11am/noon BTN
Southern Miss vs. Texas-San Antonio 11am/noon TV?
Georgia Tech vs. Pitt 11:30am/12:30pm ACC
