Minkah Fitzpatrick Named National Defensive Player of the Week

Congratulations to Minkah Fitzpatrick on being named the nation’s Defensive Player of the Week by the Walter Camp Foundation:

Texas A&M’s Trevor Knight and Alabama’s Minkah Fitzpatrick Named Walter Camp National FBS Players of the Week, presented by Generation UCAN

Minkah Fitzpatrick had three interceptions, including a school-record 100-yard return for a touchdown, as top-ranked Alabama defeated 16^th-ranked Arkansas, 49-30. Fitzpatrick also had five tackles (4 solo) and broke up two passes in the victory.

It is the second time that young Minkah has been honored, the other last season following his huge game against Texas A&M.
