At this point, barring complete catastrophe/upsets in some conference championship games, we basically know Seeds One-through-Three, which will likely be Alabama (No. 1) and then take your pick of Clemson or Ohio State at No. 2 and 3.
The big question tonight is who is No. 4: A Washington team that rebounded nicely from its USC debacle or Penn State, who is playing for a Big Ten championship? Both of these teams have a Top 10 opponent on tap this weekend. For the Nittie Kitties, it’s No. 6 Wisconsin. For the Huskies, it’s No. 9 Colorado. Their respective placement tonight may very well be the status quo next week when the final seedings are announced. And, assuming both win out, the team sitting at No. 5 is going to have a legitimate gripe.
So, who do you have at Number Four?
UPDATE: 1-10 are (somewhat) whacked. LOL
- Alabama
- Ohio State
- Clemson
- Washington (no surprise)
- Michigan (LOLWUT? setting up that rematch if UW loses.)
- Wisconsin (blech)
- Penn State (huh?)
- Colorado
- Oklahoma
- Okie Lite.
