Much like last year, the All-SEC roster was a who’s who of ‘Bama stars.
The Crimson Tide had eleven players named to All-SEC rosters, including seven on the first team. Somewhat surprising to some, Jalen Hurts took home First Team honors at quarterback over Ole Miss’ Chad Kelly and Tennessee’s Josh Dobbs, who tied for second-team honors. (And, man, are the Vols melting down.)
Below are the Tide players named, and the complete roster is available on the SEC’s website.
First Team Offense
QB: Jalen Hurts
WR: ArDarius Stewart
LT: Cam Robinson
First Team Defense/ST
DL: Jonathan Allen
LB: Reuben Foster
DB: Minkah Fitzpatrick
P: J.K. Scott
Second Team Offense
TE: OJ Howard
WR: Calvin Ridley
Second Team Defense/ST
LB: Tim Williams
DB: Eddie Jackson
Congratulations to these eleven on being honored by the coaches of the SEC -- this wasn’t a popularity contest, it was 14 skilled staffs nominating the best that the best conference has to offer.
