With Alabama not getting much done with its backcourt in foul trouble, Jimmie Taylor stepped up in a huge way -- having perhaps his best day in a Crimson jersey. Some late timely free throws, big blocks on the defensive end, and a harassing defense down the stretch mattered in this one, as Alabama secured its first win over the Florida Gators in 12 tries, and snapped a 1995-and-counting losing streak in Gainesville.

Alabama is firmly on the bubble now. Amazing.
