#10 Alabama (17-13, 8-10 SEC) vs. #7 Ole Miss (21-11, 10-8 SEC)

Spruce Derden-USA TODAY Sports

The Crimson Tide will begin the 2016 SEC Tournament with a rematch against the Ole Miss Rebels. A win tonight would keep the Tide's season alive, as the winner will advance to play the Kentucky Wildcats tomorrow night. This game could also go a long way in determining seeding in the NIT as well, as both squads are currently projected to be anywhere between a 2 and a 5 seed. Avery Johnson has reversed a number of negative trends for Alabama basketball in his first season at the Capstone. Can he restore the SEC's second-most prestigious program in terms of tournament titles in Year One as well?

The game tips-off at 6:00 PM CST and will be televised by the SEC Network.
