NFL Draft Day Three Open Thread

Brace yourselves, today will be a long one

Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

Day two of the draft ended up being much more eventful for the Crimson Tide than expected. Reggie Ragland, A'Shawn Robinson, and Jarran Reed all fell from the first round and ended up being selected by the Bills, Lions, and Seahawks in the second round, respectively. Derrick Henry was selected by the Titans during the middle of that.

Then Cyrus Jones, a player many projected to be a 5th rounder, was taken in the second by the Patriots. Lastly, the Dolphins took Kenyan Drake early in the 3rd.

With such a run on the Alabama alumni during day two, day three figures to be fairly uneventful. DJ Pettway should be drafted in the first half of the day, but after that, no one knows. Jake Coker and Dominik Jackson both have fairly decent shots of being drafted near the end of the event, but the rest of the seniors are unlikely.

Alabama leads the SEC with 7 draft picks so far. The Tide would lead the nation, but the entire Ohio State team decided to go pro this year, and the Buckeyes have 10 drafted already.

Alabama Picks

18th-Indianapolis Colts- Ryan Kelly

41st-Buffalo Bills-Reggie Ragland

45th-Tennessee Titans-Derrick Henry

46th-Detroit Lions-A'Shawn Robinson

60th-New England Patriots-Cyrus Jones

73rd-Miami Dolphins-Kenyan Drake

The 4th round of the Draft will commence at 11:00 a.m. Central Time today, and the draft will power straight through the last four rounds without cease. Because that is a ridiculous number of picks and this page would end up extremely long, I won't be updating it constantly unless an Alabama player is selected.
