In just four days of betting action on Alabama's quarterback battle, the sharp money (and a whole lot of it) has massively shifted the odds on who will win the starting quarterback gig.

Representatives from BookMaker.eu, the bookmaker who set the line and is taking most of the action on this one, noted to me in correspondence that they have taken multiple limit wagers (the maximum bet amount that a sportsbook will take) on Jalen Hurts taking the first snap of the regular season.

Cooper Bateman is still the favorite, but his odds are rising rapidly. And, a good deal of money has also seen Blake Barnett’s odds to start move up. David Cornwell is Vegas’ odd-man-out: his odds to take the first snap are becoming a prohibitive longshot bet.

Below are the odds when the line opened a week ago versus the odds just four days later after heavy betting.

Odds on 8/4

Alabama starting quarterback for 2016 regular season

Cooper Bateman -300

David Cornwell +550

Jalen Hurts +3000

Blake Barnett +600

Odds on 8/8

Alabama starting quarterback for 2016 regular season

Cooper Bateman -325

David Cornwell +1500

Jalen Hurts +1500

Blake Barnett +385

Okay, time to put your money where your mouth is: You have been given $1000 from the Gambling Fairy. Where do you put it? Who gets the first snap in Jerry World?

Chime in below.
