The Crimson Tide was back at practice on Monday morning for the third two-a-day of the fall. The team worked out in full pads in relatively "cooler" temperatures, in the low 80s.

Defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand was held out of Saturday's scrimmage but was back in action on Monday practicing in a full-contact jersey. He returned to a top spot along with Jonathan Allen and Da'Ron Payne when running through linemen drills.

Also back at full-strength was running back Bo Scarbrough. Nick Saban had said that Bo had gotten "dinged up" in Saturday's scrimmage. He was first in line through drills.

Linebacker Rashaan Evans appeared to be limited, as he only participated in a few of the drills. Unofficial reports say he may have had an issue during the scrimmage.

Defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson, who injured his ankle in Saturday's scrimmage, was not practicing with the defensive line in the morning session. He was seen wearing a boot and a black, no-contact jersey as he rode a stationary bike on the sideline.

The first line of Cam Robinson, Lester Cotton, Ross Pierschbacher, Bradley Bozeman, and Jonah Williams remained unchanged. Alphonse Taylor worked on the second line behind Bozeman. True freshman Chris Owens was seen working at left tackle with the second group. Matt Womack may be nursing some sort of injury.

Linebacker Keaton Anderson and freshman wide receiver Trevon Diggs were seen working with the safeties. Diggs was a standout at both positions in high school.

There were some reports that redshirt freshman cornerback Kendall Sheffield was not seen during the media viewing periods.

True freshmen Shyheim Carter and Jared Mayden are seeing increasing practice time.

The players get to practice their sports cliches during press interviews. This will be followed by an evening practice at 7:30 pm CT in shells.
