Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Ole Miss Rebels 1st half open thread

Can the Tide finally shake the Ole Miss monkey off of its back?

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

It's game day, boys. Alabama is in Oxford and ready to exorcise some Rebel demons. Can Jalen Hurts continue his impressive freshman debut and take advantage of a depleted Ole Miss secondary? Can the Alabama defense shut down the high-powered Rebel offense led by Chad Kelly?

We'll have to wait and see, but the time is near. I'm more nervous for this game than I have been for almost any game in the last couple of seasons, save for the national championship. By all accounts, it seems like the Tide should have the advantage in almost every area of the field, but I just don't feel right about it.

Kickoff is at 3:30 P.M. ET (2:30 CT). It will be broadcast live on CBS with Verne and Gary calling the telecast. If you don't have access to a TV, you can stream the game here. You can also download the CBSsports app and watch it on your phone, if you're tech savvy enough to figure out how.

Good luck to all the players today, and Roll Tide!
