LSU Tigers at Alabama Crimson Tide Open Game Thread

They don't call it the "Game of the Century" any more but it is still a pretty big one.

Alabama Crimson Tide 8-0, 5-0 SEC

As the calendar flips to November, it is getting down to the nitty gritty. Thoughts turn from Trick or Treat and the World Series to the home stretch of the SEC schedule. First on the docket are the Bayou Bengals.

GAME 9:

Saturday, November 4, 2017, 7pm/8pm CBS - Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson with Allie LaForce.

Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL

Honorary Captains: Rashad Johnson and Barrett Jones.

The Crimson Tide is a three touchdown favorite and Coach Nick Saban is trying his darnedest to not let his team get swelled heads. He got a little help in that department with the release of the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season with Alabama firmly ranked behind the Georgia Bulldogs.

Alabama leads the series with LSU 51-25-5 and have won six straight going back to the 9-6 "Game of the Century". Of course that game was followed by the 50-yard line game and a Crystal Football.

The Tigers are much improved since their beatdown at the hands of Missy State followed by an inconceivable loss to Troy.

After some early rain, the wet stuff should back off by kickoff and settle into temperatures in the high 60s. By the end of the game, it should be around 67°. There is a 15% chance of rain and a 0% chance of a LSU win.

You know how to get the Open Game Threads going, right?

ROLL TIDE!
