Alabama at Texas A&M Game Thread

Alabama Crimson Tide (16-11, 9-6 SEC) vs Texas A&M (14-13, 6-9 SEC)

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

Any hopes for an appearance in the NCAA Tournament may be lost, but Alabama still has a lot to play for late in the year. For one, while the NIT is all but assured, the Tide still have seeding to play for. On top of that, 'Bama is still in play for the double-bye in the SEC Tournament, as Arkansas and South Carolina are only a game ahead of the Tide, and Alabama has the head-to-head tiebreaker with the Gamecocks.

A&M is a talented yet flawed team, but Alabama's players will have to overcome a lot of adversity in the form of a quick turnaround that sees the Tide taking the court in less than 48 hours after the heart-breaking loss to Georgia Bulldogs on Thursday.

The game will tip-off at 7:00 PM CST and will be televised on ESPN2.
