Here is the NIT bracket. Hopefully, we will get much use out of it over the next two-three weeks. But, the first step is a tough home game vs. the Richmond Spiders.

We will have your breakdown coming up shortly. In the meanwhile, here are some interesting common-opponent tidbits via SEC Country: By many metrics, Alabama outperformed the Spiders in their one common opponent, the Dayton Flyers, another team much smaller than the Tide. Richmond is even smaller than Dayton, so the Tide should be able to have their way in the post and on the glass.
The only common opponent Alabama and Richmond faced is Dayton. The Flyers beat Alabama by 5 points early in the season in Tuscaloosa and handled Richmond by 16 in Dayton in January. Some things to take away from those two matchups:
— Dayton outrebounded Richmond 31-30; Alabama outrebounded Dayton 40-28.
— Dayton shot 48.9 percent from the field against Richmond; Dayton shot 54.5 percent against Alabama.
— Richmond made 2 of 20 from 3-point range; Alabama hit 6 of 23.
— Dayton’s top scorer, guard Charles Cooke scored 17 points in 37 minutes vs. Richmond; he had 19 in 35 minutes against Alabama.
Best of luck tonight, and #buckleup
