Ed. Note:
You can bet your hat there are going to be more high school players hanging around, whether officially visiting the Tide or just taking it all in from up in the stands, than what any of us can manage to compile into one list.
The biggest name out there is wide receiver Justyn Ross. The 6’4” athlete is a borderline 4-5 star recruit and is the top player in the state. As he hails from Central High School in Phenix City, luring him away from the nearby Cow College will be no easy task, so making a great impression on the young man today will be critical.
Quite a few of the signees from the 2017 class who won’t enroll until summer are also planning to visit, such as Phidarian Mathis and Hunter Brannon, so we can also bet that those guys will be strategically placed and grouped to help recruit some of the 2018 visitors.
If you’re going to be at the game, be sure to show these visitors the level of fandom that separates Alabama from the rest of the country. If you’re not going, please don’t try to do the same by tweeting at the recruits. Please.
