And we are back!
Although it took awhile for the NFL GMs to wake up, the night went pretty well for Alabama last night with four Crimson Tide players chosen in the first round. That gives Nick Saban 22 first rounders during his time at the4 Capstone. [BTW, that is an average of 2.2 per year.]

TONIGHT
Friday night is Rounds 2 & 3. Time limits to make picks are shorter so it will go faster than last night. Also, it begins at 6pm CT/7pm ET.
Cam Robinson should be a second rounder. Tim Williams and/or Ryan Anderson could sneak their way into the second but most certainly they won’t go past the third. Other potential third rounders are ArDarius Stewart, Dalvin Tomlinson and Eddie Jackson.
SCHEDULE
The 2017 NFL Draft is being held in Philadelphia for the first time ever.
Round 1: Thursday, April 27, 7pm CT/8pm ET, ESPN & NFL Network
Rounds 2-3: Friday, April 28, 6pm CT/7pm ET, ESPN>ESPN2 & NFL Network
Rounds 4-7: Saturday, April 29, 11am CT/noon ET, ESPN & NFL Network
ESPN: The excellent news is that Trey Wingo is anchoring the NFL Draft for ESPN, replacing buffoon extraordinaire Chris Berman, who is stepping away from the event after hosting it for the Four-Letter since 1987. Unfortunately, Wingo will be joined by bozos Mel Kiper Jr., Todd McShay, egotist Jon Gruden and the just bearable Louis Riddick.
NFL Network: Far superior coverage will be hosted by Rich Eisen with analysts Mike Mayock and insightful Daniel Jeremiah. Stanford head coach David Shaw will again be adding his excellent analysis. Kurt Warner covers quarterbacks with newly retired Steve Smith handling the wide receivers. There is also a second set featuring Charles Davis and Steve Mariucci. Additional reporting will come from Ian Rapoport and (ugh) Deion Sanders.
Round 1 Selections:
Twelve players from the SEC were selected [over a third at 37.5%]. In addition to Alabama's four #1's are three from LSU and one each from Texas A&M, Tennessee, Florida, Mizzou, and Ole Miss. No Auburn players were chosen.
