BAMA DOMINATED DRAFT

Is it just me or did it seem like in the early part of the draft, GMs were panicking and making some rash moves? Maybe that is why a lot of these teams are at the top of the draft (i.e. losing records). This is the danger of hiring young and inexperienced whippersnappers to lead your team.

After 15 picks, no Crimson Tide player had been selected. And then Ozzie Newsome started a run of three of the next four picks being Bama players. In total, nine Alabama players heard their names called, four in the first round.

Round 1:

16. Baltimore Ravens - Marlon Humphrey, CB, ALABAMA
17. Washington Redskins - Jonathan Allen, DE, ALABAMA
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - O.J. Howard, TE, ALABAMA
31. San Francisco 49ers - Reuben Foster, ILB, ALABAMA

Round 2:

34. Jacksonville Jaguars - Cam Robinson, OT, ALABAMA
49. Washington Redskins - Ryan Anderson, OLB, ALABAMA
55. New York Giants - Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, ALABAMA

Round 3:

78. Baltimore Ravens - Tim Williams, OLB, ALABAMA
79. NY Jets (from Vikings) - ArDarius Stewart, WR, ALABAMA

Round 4:

112. Chicago Bears - Eddie Jackson, S, ALABAMA - The Bears finally did something right!
