There are many recruiting tactics used to showcase why State U is the best program for a stud defensive tackle or star running back. Aggressively hyping a pro placement track record is obviously a big draw for the athletes that Alabama recruits.
The recruiting room at Alabama is an homage to All-Americans, NFL all-pros, signing bonus checks and other indicia of development into an NFL player. It costs a ton to produce these super-slick ads, furnishings, media guides and PR campaigns.
That’s why, for my money, the best piece of recruiting propaganda to come down the pipe lately hasn’t originated in Tuscaloosa or in an ad firm on Madison Avenue: It’s come from the Baltimore Ravens.
Following the Ravens preseason game against the Washington Redskins, the Ravens name-dropped Alabama and tweeted this out... Check it out. This just needs a sanctioned hashtag and this could have come from the official University account.

That is impressive as hell.
We’ll do it for you, Ravens. #BuiltByBama
