Are you surprised? if so, we welcome you back from that coma you have been in since 2006.

To the surprise of nobody outside of intensive care, the Crimson Tide was picked as the #1 team in the Coaches Preseason Poll. Perhaps surprising is that Ohio State was #2 just ahead of FSU. They are followed by Southern Cal and defending champs, Clemson.

Six SEC schools were named to the top 25 but none other than Alabama in the top 10. Tennessee some how snuck in there at #24.
