Bovada released its individual odds for marquee players yesterday. Calvin Ridley was in the initial release. And, after some followups, I was able to get the bookmakers to crank out some odds for Bo Scarbrough. Jalen Hurts will be released as the season nears.
All odds via Bovada.lv
Calvin Ridley (regular season only)
Over/Under 800.5 yards
Over/Under 7.5 touchdowns
Bo Scarbrough (regular season only)
Over/Under 1200.5 yards
Over/Under 14.5 touchdowns
Ridley’s receiving numbers look about right for yards, maybe a little low in yardsage. And, I do think he’ll go over that scoring threshold this year. Bo’s strike me as high, barring a lot of injuries. He had 812 yards last season and 11 scores, but he’s again splitting time with Damien Harris (who’s probably the most complete back,) Joshua Jacobs, and Najee Harris. Add Jalen Hurts legs (he rushed for over 900 yards last season) and an improved passing game, and I think we’ll see roughly comparable stats to 2016.
What say you?
