Ole Missdial Rebel Black Ack-Bears 2-1, 0-0 SEC
Alabama Crimson Tide 4-0, 1-0 SEC
The Crimson Tide is a 28-point favorite against the Rebels. Alabama has won 68 straight games against unranked opponents. That is the longest active streak in the FBS, and it's the third longest streak since the AP poll debuted in 1936.
The Rebels won their first two games against South Alabama (47-27) and UT-Martin (45-23), both at home. Two weeks ago, they blew a 16-7 third quarter lead at Cal and lost 27-16. This past week was an off week for Matt Luke's crew. Thanks Sankey. Ole Miss is all about passing the ball. Shea Patterson has attempted 122 passes as opposed to 53 run attempts by running backs. Expect an up-tempo game with few rush attempts from OM.
Alabama should not be missing anyone due to injury. Leading Ole Miss WR A.J. Brown (knee) is probable as is kicker Gary Wunderlich who tweaked a hamstring on a missed extra point against Cal. Defensive end Victor Evans (knee) is probable as well. Starting center Sean Rawlings (ankle) is questionable.
GAME 5 at Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL - Saturday should be Partly Cloudy with a high of 84°. Temperatures with drop to 74° by game time and potentially 70° by the end. 0% chance of rain (or an OM win).
Saturday, September 30, 2017, 8pm/9pm - Joe Tessitore and Todd Blackledge with Holly Rowe.
