We’ve got a doozy tonight, one that should be very competitive and yet another one that could potentially get interesting.
Memphis travels to play the UCF Knights. The Tigers are down some defensive players owing to injury. But, both of these teams are favorites to the win the AAC and can score in droves. This should be really entertaining.
WOMP WOMP. Irma killed the above match up. Memphis arrived late Thursday and then were told to turn around. No make-up date has been scheduled. Alcorn State at FIU has also been cancelled.
The remaining two games are pretty good though, esp. the Ohio-Purdue game. The Poke and Jags have a chance to get weird as well.
Oklahoma State travels to Mobile to face the South Alabama Jaguars. The Jags play fairly well at home, and could make this one a tussle...or the far superior Cowboys could blast them. The Pokes don’t traditionally play well from home. The Jags have a good offense. Who knows how it ends.
Purdue hosts the MAC favorite Ohio Bobcats. Last week the Boilermakers had the Louisville Cardinals in all kinds of trouble before falling late by a score. Coach Brohm takes over after a great stint at Western Kentucky — this team looks night and day better. If the Boilers want a good measuring stick (and bowl eligibility) a home win over a bowl-bound G5 team is a must.
There you are. Here’s your schedule and how to watch or stream. See you in the comments.
