Well, here we are a week later and the Las Vegas bookmakers have again set Alabama as a favorite over their higher seeded opponent (-4 seems ot be the consensus).
It appears that after the Crimson Tide’s thrashing of top-seeded Clemson, that the members of the national media has learned their lessons. You may recall last week the Tigers were the overwhelming pick to win Part III of “The Trilogy”. This week, they are leaning more towards Alabama.
ESPN:
Desmond Howard, Joey Galloway, David Pollack, Rece Davis, and Lee Corso will pick later in the day. I will update later. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit are calling the game and will not pick.
