With success comes coaching attrition, and Nick Saban will have plenty of work to do this offseason. He already had to navigate the loss of DC Jeremy Pruitt, and will now be in the market for a coach to replace DB coach Derrick Ansley.
Ansley’s plan is to leave after Monday’s national championship game against Georgia and join Mike Bobo’s staff with the Rams. He is the second defensive staff casualty for the Crimson Tide, joining defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt who was named Tennessee’s head coach in December.
Good luck to Derrick. After he wins a national title, of course.
