College Football National Championship Second-Half Thread: UGA Leads Bama 13-0

The Crimson Tide has looked dreadful, but it’s not over yet.

After a big interception by Tony Brown on the first Georgia possession, Jalen Hurts led a nice drive into UGA territory and then missed a wide open Calvin Ridley for a touchdown. It has gone all downhill offensively since then. After Andy Pappanastos missed a 40 yard field goal, the Tide O managed ONE first down in the next four possessions.

Many of you are calling for Hurts to be yanked and Tua Tagovailoa to be put in. I will do nothing to stop your message.

The Crimson Tide defense kept the Bulldogs out of the end zone on their first two scoring drives but allowed a touchdown just before the half ended. They have also given up some head-shaking third and longs.

But this game is far from being over. I hope Nick Saban has one helluva halftime speech.

Let’s bring home this National Championship #17!

ROLL TIDE!
