Jake from has completed eleventy billion dink and dunk passes while the Georgia running game has been just good enough to keep extending drives over and over. Meanwhile, Alabama’s offense has been a comedy of mental errors. Four receiver drops took away nearly 100 passing yards, Tua Tagovailoa has been determined to hold the ball for 30 seconds on every drop back, taking a few drive-killing sacks that were totally on him.
Meanwhile, the Tide run game has been nearly unstoppable by everyone, except offensive coordinator Mike Locksley, who doesn’t seem like he wants to give the running backs many carries.
Despite all that, Alabama is only down by one score at half, and Tua has been at his absolute best in the 3rd quarter this season. The defense, particularly Dylan Moses and Mack Wilson, will have to pick up their play and the receivers are going to have to start making their presence felt. If they can, though, Alabama will cruise forward, despite the slow start.
Roll Tide!
