The University of Alabama Hockey Club will face off against the Auburn Tigers on Sunday, March 4 at 2 p.m. The game will take place in the newly renovated arena at the Pelham Civic Complex. This will be the team’s 20th meeting with Auburn, a matchup Alabama has never lost.

According to the club’s president Jon Lovorn, the players can already feel the excitement surrounding the game. He said the team understands the importance of keeping their undefeated record against the Tigers.

“For the players, it is a chance to participate in the rivalry of Auburn vs. Alabama and to do it playing the game that they love,” Lovorn said. “I think it is great for both programs and the growth of hockey in the South. We look forward to hosting the Auburn Tigers in another fantastic Iron Cup game.”

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for children. For students, the price starts at $5, but goes down $1 for every Alabama Hockey social media platform that they follow. Students are encouraged to follow the team on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to take full advantage of the discount. By following all three accounts, the price can go down to $2.
