Alabama’s A-Day Spring Game will have an impressive list of visitors, highlighted by 5-stars Darnell Wright, Clay Webb, Ishmael Sopsher.
COMMITTED
Six of Bama’s eight 2019 commits will be in town - which is always a good sign. Of the two who have not been confirmed, 4-star ILB Shane Lee (Baltimore, MD) just committed a few days ago after an unofficial visit last weekend. No word on 4-star ATH/S Brandon Turnage (Oxford, MS) who has been making unofficial visits to MSU and OM since committing in December.
Below are are the committed who will be at A-Day with my IMHOs:
- Pierce Quick, 5-star OT, Hewitt-Trussville, AL - LOCK
- King Mwikuta, 4-star OLB, LaGrange, GA - Very strong commit.
- Christian Williams, 4-star CB, Daphne, AL - LOCK
- Brendan Gant, 4-star S, Lakeland, FL - Derrick Ansley recruit. May be looking around but visiting is a good sign.
- Paul Tyson, 4-star QB, Hewitt-Trussville, AL - LOCK
- Rashad Cheney, 4-star DT, Ellenwood, GA - Very strong.
- Jackson Bratton, 2020 4-star LB, Muscle Shoals, AL - LOCK
- Javier Morton, 2020 4-star CB, Stone Mountain, GA - Heavily recruited by others but looking good.
GRAD TRANSFER
Alabama still has room to add a few to the Class of 2018. Jay Hayes was a starting defensive end at Notre Dame but has chosen to grad-transfer for his senior season. Although he committed to Oklahoma last Sunday, he will be in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. In 2018, he had 13 solos, 14 assists, 1 sack, 3.5 TFL, 4 QBH and a safety. Hayes is originally from Brooklyn, NY.
