With the 22nd overall pick, the Tennessee Titans selected Rashaan Evans. The linebacker is a hybrid inside/outside linebacker who is just as effective at pass coverage and QB spying as he is at rushing the passer on third down.
With Derrick Henry already on the team and set to be the starter at runningback, I might just become a Titans fan now. Evans will be competing with Wesley Woodyard, Nate Palmer, and Brian Orakpo for linebacker, and will definitely have a good shot at supplanting one of those for the starting job.
