In a record week for Alabama football that saw 17 players sign NFL contracts, including an SEC- and school-record dozen draftees, nevertheless several Alabama players did not get quite as good of news as they had anticipated either entering the season or even the weekend.
Some lower-than-expected results were simply the result of deep classes at some positions (corner, running back). Others were the result of diminished production or injury concerns (Bo Scarbrough, Shaun Dion Hamilton). Some players slid a bit because of lackluster combine efforts (Calvin Ridley). And then there were simply the headscratchers, like Ronnie Harrison — long thought to be at least a second round lock, falling all the way to the third round.
Here’s the list of who went were and when. And today’s burning question is a simple one:
Which Alabama player received the greatest snub at that 2018 NFL Draft?
Round One: Da’Ron Payne, Rashaan Evans, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Calvin Ridley
Round Three: Ronnie Harrison
Round Four: Da’Shawn Hand, Anthony Averett
Round Five: J.K. Scott
Round Six: Shaun Dion Hamilton, Bradley Bozeman
Round Seven: Bo Scarbrough, Joshua Frazier
UDFA: Tony Brown, Robert Foster, Levi Wallace*, Cam Sims, J.C. Hassenauer

* I have a separate story on Levi Wallace coming at you tomorrow. So, you can guess who my pick for “most snubbed” is.
