Alabama basketball coach Avery Johnson recently stopped by Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett’s Area 21 program to have a little fun. As part of the show, they gave him a rack of basketballs at the top of the key and 20 seconds on the clock to show what he can do.
For those counting, that is 10 of 12 for the diminutive southpaw whose long NBA career included a starting nod at point guard for 1999 NBA champion San Antonio Spurs. To his credit, he closed the segment with a hearty Roll Tide.
Nice work, Coach.
