Alabama was absolutely cruising in the first three days of stroke play at the NCAA Championships at Karsten Creek (Stillwater.) Up by a full eight strokes going into the final round, Alabama took its foot off the gas, and it almost cost them.

UCLA, sitting at a distant second, made up 8 strokes against Alabama’s 299, and tied ‘Bama for the lead in stroke play. Still, Alabama was able to regroup in the final few rounds and claim the second overall seed in the match play beginning today.

The Tide square off against Kent State, the 7th seed. You can catch quarterfinal action beginning at 10:00 CST on the Golf Channel. For those bound to a computer, Golf Stat has you covered with its live streaming leaderboard.

Best of luck to the women today, and Roll Tide
