Louisville Cardinals WR Dez Fitzpatrick made headlines recently when he suggested that the Cardinals’ receivers are better than Alabama’s defensive backs.
Well, they say that a team takes on the personality of its coach, and Bobby Petrino is nothing if not brash.

"I believe we're gonna go beat em. And we will go beat em"
Did “Crash” Petrino just guarantee a victory? I think he just guaranteed a victory. At least one defensive lineman feels the same way.
Louisville captain Jon Greenard, a redshirt junior DE, slyly says the Alabama game will be a good learning experience, "win or win."

That seems to be a lot of chirping for a 25-point underdog. Frankly, I’m skeptical that they actually believe this stuff, but we’ll take the bulletin board material. Perhaps someone should tell Louisville what happened when a similarly cocky and undermanned Vanderbilt team made the #WeWantBama claim leading up to the game last season.
By the way, in case you missed it, Marvel Comics put out a comic book cover ahead of the game.

You’ll have your chance to prove your mettle soon enough, Cardinals. Soon enough.
Roll Tide.
