Man, don’t you just love when ESPN’s ratings continue to drop, so they schedule Alabama for ALL the morning games because, hey, Alabama fans always watch the games?
Alabama’s heading back to the morning when making the short trip to Mississippi State on Nov. 16.
The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will kickoff at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN, according to the network TV assignments released by the SEC on Monday.
These two have typically met in 2:30 p.m. or evening kickoffs with the recent success of Mississippi State but this has been a down season in Starkville.
This is the 3rd 11:00 AM kickoff for the Tide this season. It’s not ideal by any stretch, and honestly quite ridiculous for an SEC opponent like Mississippi State. The Bulldogs may be down this season, but it’s not like they’re Vanderbilt or some other FCS team.
With Alabama following that game up with West Carolina the next week, that will be back-to-back morning kickoffs for Tide fans. At least it’s not north of 100 degrees anymore.
