Postgame/Late shift open thread

What a ballgame.

It was the shootout we expected, but the Alabama offense unfortunately spent the first half shooting itself in the foot. Give Alabama credit for fighting back valiantly and to LSU for making the plays they needed to make. They played a far cleaner game than Alabama tonight, and they deserve to win.

We have plenty of time to talk about the playoff committee. I’m sure there will be some loonies saying things like “T don’t even want to see this team in the playoff” but the same thing was said by those people in 2015 and 2017 too. Both times it turned out OK.

Be good to each other. Trolls will be banned immediately.
