Alabama Crimson Tide (4-4, 0-0 SEC) at Penn State Nittany Lions (8-2, 1-1 B1G)

NCAA Basketball: Battle 4 Atlantis-Alabama vs Southern Miss Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Crimson Tide head up North for another major test against a really good and likely NCAA Tournament team in the Penn State Nittany Lions. Pat Chambers’ team is off to arguably the best start in program history, and they are coming off a massive win over the previously undefeated and 4th-ranked Maryland Terrapins Tuesday night. The hype for Penn State basketball is at an all-time high right now, so the place should be packed-out this afternoon.

However, that provides the opportunity to catch Penn State in a serious hangover game. The Tide haven’t played in a week, so hopefully, the guys are well-rested and ready to go today. Keep an eye on the status of Beetle Bolden, as he continues to battle his obscene amount of wrist and hand injuries. When he’s on the floor and knocking down shots, Alabama is a much more difficult team to defend.

The game tips at 1:00 PM CST and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
