SIDE NOTE: Many NFL analysts believe Cyrus Kouandjio’s NFL days may be over. He has had some injuries and frankly has not performed well. And then there is that strange incident from a few years ago. In hindsight, it seems like he should have stayed a fourth year at Alabama like older brother, Arie, who may have some more NFL years in him.
A'Shawn Robinson could be in line for a contract extension this year https://t.co/dqAPRMqpZp (via @mlive)

Interesting nugget from @AlbertBreer: Ravens went as high as $14M/yr to bring back CJ Mosley, but Jets gave him offer he just couldn’t refuse: $17M/yr
— Manish Mehta (@MMehtaNYDN) March 18, 2019
Ravens used unspent CJ money to give comparable deal to Earl Thomas (basically 3yr, $43M)
Jets deal for CJ: Basically 3yr, $51M https://t.co/aiQJRvPgWS
Fluker deal much better than initially reported. Sounds like 2 years/$6M ($3M APY) with incentives for up to $9M total deal.

If I’m reading correct, 2019 cap is $500K signing bonus + $850K base + $150K 53 man bonus + 62.5K per game ($1M/year)
2019 cap hit of $2.5M for Fluker https://t.co/aBGb0fBjAe
Ha Ha Clinton-Dix gets $3.5 million on his one-year deal from the #Bears, source says. He had more on the table elsewhere but it sounds like he wanted to join that Chicago defense and be reunited with his Alabama teammate Eddie Jackson.

Raiders hoped to retain QB A.J. McCarron. But they also needed to clear cash following recent roster moves. McCarron been released, per @AdamSchefter. This saves $5 million. Clearing cash, not salary cap, the driving force here.
