Evan Daniels of 247sports reports that Alabama will be making another high-profile addition to the team in Villanova transfer Jahvon Quinerly. The former 5-star McDonald’s All-American point guard found himself playing only 9.1 minutes per game last season behind rising junior Collin Gillespie who won’t be turning pro or finding the pine anytime soon. Quinerly averaged 3.2 ppg this past season.
Unless he can get a waiver, he would have to sit a year and have three years remaining. Sitting out would not be such a bad thing with James Bolden having only one season to play and the distinct possibility of Kira Lewis leaving for the NBA after next season.
