We have heard various rumors over the past 24 hours about possible internal discipline, and Joe Goodman has the goods.
Alabama RBs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson will be suspended for the first half of the season opener against Duke for missing a team function, according to a source.

Word on the street is that the function was a movie that was intended as a team builder. I guess it kind of went the other way.
Realistically, this doesn’t move the needle against Duke. Jerome Ford will likely get the start at RB and Sarkisian will probably just go ahead and air it out early. Still, it’s not good to see insubordination in the ranks to kick off the season, particularly with some of the storylines from late last season. Hopefully these young men learn from their mistake and have strong seasons.
Roll Tide.
UPDATE:
BamaInsider says that Terrell Lewis and Devonta Smith are facing discipline during the game too. Fantastic.
