Following the first SEC game of its season, Alabama saw a couple of offensive stars recognized by the conference.
— Tua Tagovailoa named SEC Offensive Player of the Week
— Tony Tsoukalas (@Tony_Tsoukalas) September 16, 2019
— Landon Dickerson named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week https://t.co/miIQLhJMcu
We all know that Tua lit up the stat sheet with 78% of his passes completed for 444 yards and 5 TD, but according to the release Dickerson graded out perfectly on the day, with zero hurries allowed and zero missed assignments in 58 snaps. Few people saw Dickerson coming in and winning a starting job considering the talent on hand, but he has done just that and appears to be among the best of the bunch.
Congratulations to both young men on their achievements.
Roll Tide.
