Newcomers

  • Landon Dickerson - OL (3)

15 true freshmen played against South Carolina, with Justin Eboigbe making his debut for the Crimson Tide after missing the first two contests with an injury. Of the freshmen who made their debuts against New Mexico State, Mwikuta and Quick both played again while Tanner Bowles and Jahleel Billingsley did not see the field.

With Eboigbe playing, 19 of the 26 members (I’m just going to stop counting Trey Sanders since he’s likely out for the year) of the Class of 2019 have now played.

Here’s where the other freshmen who have seen the field, just not against South Carolina, stand.

  • Scooby Carter - DB (2)
  • Taulia Tagovailoa - QB (1)
  • Tanner Bowles - OL (1)
  • Jahleel Billingsley - TE (1)
